Bitzero New Column.... WWE And TNA
Alright i know it's been a while since I've written anything real meaningful so hear we go i guess. I'm probably going to ramble and be pretty scattered so bear with me. It's just gonna cover TNA and WWE basically and one side not in Japan. Alright so let me start with why the f*ck is Chris Daniels not back in TNA yet. The MEM took out Samoa Joe, Bubba Dudley, and Petey Williams. The storyline makes it out to look like the Frontline is getting decimated by all these injuries why not get Daniels back into the fold. Also why hasn't The Frontline turned to what could've been they're secret weapon. I'm talking about the former "Monster" Abyss. He has as much right as anyone to be called an TNA original or whatever TNA's going by now. Get him out of this failing tag team with Matt Morgan and back into an actual singles feud. Before Steiner got injured weren't they gonna go with an Abyss/Steiner angle anyways. One more TNA note. I now believe that this Suicide character should be dumped in full. The man that's supposed to be playing the character has been injured twice now. The big rumor is that Low Ki (Senshi) should come back and play him because he did the voice of the character. My question is why would Low Ki want to come back? The reason he left TNA is because the higher up had a meeting asking if anybody wanted to be released from their contract and he said yes. Why would he want to come back now? Also this character sucks for me because when people play a character with a mask i expect them have a hidden identity. Like before Mysterio had to take off his mask in WCW and Kane in WWE it was cool wondering what these people really looked like, it added a certain mystique. With this Suicide character we already new it was Kaz, now maybe Low Ki, or even Chris Daniels. Where's the fun in that? Now my other note on TNA that our great leader here at the Palace (AKA: Mike) brought up is this whole TNA and i believe he said New Japan deal that they have. He was talking about how the Dudley's and the MCMG both went into the Tokyo Dome and brought back Japanese gold. He also went on to talk about an invasion angle. If Japan would send over some guys and try and take back their titles. They already have Hiroshi Tanashi hear who could do some major "inside job" type of damage. They could have a night of Frontline and MEM guys getting knocked off and each other team thinks it's the other guys well say at the end of the night. It's AJ vs. Sting, out comes a whole group of top New Japan guys and just destroys them both. Having no back up Sting, and AJ both get annihilated leading to something happening the next week. Heck the Japanese guys could even take the TNA World Title hostage just to add a little something. Like Mike said this would blow the Frontline vs. MEM storyline out of the water and anything that WWE currently has running as well. Don't worry Mike your not the only one up on your dream cloud hoping this happens I'm right there with you praying this happens. Alright i think thats all for TNA I'll interject myself later if i have any other thoughts. So... like i said a while back, why can't Kizarny just be called Sinn Bowdee and and not speak in carney? The only hope that i have for this guy is that he is friends with Edge. Edge also had a very awkward character that was part mystery guy and part vampire. So if anyone can turn a bad character around it is probably him. I mean how dumb is WWE they push Kizarny promos down our throats for weeks and then he has one, ONE match and guys are already "souring" on him. What the f*ck were you putting up all those promos for if you pretty much new you yourself weren't gonna like him. I really do feel bad for this guy, his character is already f*cked and he's only had one match. Quick note how retarded is this nude photo storyline that HHH laid down this past week on Smackdown. Eddie has got to be doing backflips in his grave. Also quick note on ChavoG2009 how far has this guy fallen. He is a member of one of the greatest wrestling families of all times and now he really is a gopher for Vickie. I'll have more on him in a Superstar WTF!? column thats coming up. So i don't know if it's just me but i believe there's more then one person that would agree with me, the WWE is official done with tag teams. I mean Carlito and Primo are finally defending their tag titles for the first time since they won them months ago. Jesse and Festus are now an after thought in the Smackdown tag division. Kendrick and Jackson are there but i really can't stand their whole gimmick. Hawkins and Ryder suck. The only legit tag teams that are left in the WWE is The Miz and Morrison and yea I'll say it Cryme Tyme. We'll start with Miz/Morrison. WWE actually pulled something smart out and put titles back on they're best tag team. Now it may have been forced since they are looking to go with Punk as Intercontinental Champion and they didn't want a dual champ. But still Miz and Morrison are to good not to have gold. And i know people might disagree with Cryme Tyme but, at least they have a gimmick. It's fun it's still a newer gimmick and they can put on a good show. Me and Hugo of the Eagle's Ring and Palace had a brief conversation recently about something that might spice up the lacking tag division. A unification of the Tag Titles. They hold a King of the Ring style tag tournament that covers all three shows. They enter in Cryme Tyme, The Colons, Miz and Morrison, Kendrick and Jackson, Jesse and Festus, Hawkins and Ryder, possibly whats ever left of Legacy and they could even put together like Kofi and Mysterio. We also talked about bringing up the team of D.H. Smith and whoever his partner is. And also bringing up SOS to team with Finlay. You put all those teams in a tourney and have the finals at a damn PPV. When the hell were the tag team titles last defend on a PPV? Cap off the finals with the rebirth of TLC Tag Match. Now that would get me to watch WWE tag teams. Some random thoughts:
Is it wrong that i think Santino and Beth Phoenix are funny as hell? Still not buying the HBK being broke thing but, the storyline is kinda working. Could Kane, Big Show, Finlay, Mark Henry, Shelton Benjamin, and if reports are right The Great Khali have any less direction? January 16th I'm going to the house show thats in my town that should be fun I'm getting Raw/ECW so I'll get to see Mysterio, Kingston, Orton, and Cena. Some of my favorite wrestlers maybe I'll have something good to report on after that. Oh yeah last thing if i was MVP i would quit. This storyline is ridiculous. If I'm him i 'm thinking they want to turn me face when I'm on a show where Taker, HHH, Jeff Hardy, and Kennedy are all faces. What the hell is wrong with this picture. This is one more character that i really do feel sorry for. Like I've said before I've seen him live and he is an awesome character plays to the audience and can really wrestle. It's sad the current way he is being used. Well I've been writing this for a while now and it's longer then i expected so I'll get the heck out of here. Don't forget to check out these links. Thanks for reading, hopefully some of it made sense. Palace forums: http://msiciliano.proboards106.com/ Eagle's Ring: http://theeaglesring.weebly.com/
SuperStar WTF!!!!
Superstar WTF!?
Wrestler: The Great Khali
Height: 7 ft. 1 in.
Weight: 420 lbs.
Age: 36
From: Dhirana, Himachal Pradesh, India
Nicknames: "The Punjabi Nightmare", "The Punjabi Playboy"
Finishers: Khali Bomb, Khali Vice Grip, Overhead Chop
Championships and Accomplishments: World Heavyweight Champion (1), PWI ranked him #101 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2007, Wrestling Observer Newsletter awarded him Most Overrated in 2007. Also won Mr. India in 1995 and 1996.
Early Years: The Great Khali or known by his first ring name Giant Singh debuted in October 2000 for the promotion All Pro Wrestling (APW). He teamed with Tony Jones and fought against the West Side Playaz. Unfortunately though this was one of the worst times in Khali's career. On May 28, 2001, Brian Ong received a flapjack from Khali which would ultimately cause his death. Medical trainers had cleared Ong after evaluating him for a previous concussion. Although the trainers didn't do a full scale evaluation. APW was eventually sued by the Ong family and received $1.3 million in damages.
August of 2001 The Great Khali was brought into New Japan Wrestling (NJPW) by the leader of Team 2000, Masahiro Chono. Still using the ring name Giant Singh teamed with Giant Silva. They ended up being the tallest tag team in pro wrestling history, averaging a height of 7 ft 2 1/2 in and a combined weight of 805 lb. The two first teamed at the Tokyo Dome and were named "Club 7" by Chono. The went on to defeat Yutaka Yoshie, Kenzo Suzuki, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Wataru Inoue in a 4 on 2 handicap match. Khali's first loss came in a tag team match in January 2002 after Hiroyoshi Tenzan pinned him with a cradle. Although Khali's biggest loss came to his former partner Giant Silva, in August 2002 at Tokyo Nippon Budokan.
WWE: Khali was first signed to the WWE's Deep South Wrestling developmental territory on January 2, 2006. He was the first ever Indian professional wrestler to be signed to a contract by the WWE. Khali made his WWE debut on April 7th on an episode of Smackdown attacking the Undertaker and causing a no-contest in his match versus Mark Henry.
Khali made his in ring debut versus Funaki on April 21st, he beat him soundly. Khali originally was managed by Daivari, after Daivari claimed Khali would succeed where Mark Henry and Muhammed Hassan had failed at destroying The Undertaker. Khali's first real competitor was at the time World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio. Khali had a 2 ft height advantage and 250 lb weight advantage. He easily defeated Mysterio. Khali and Undertaker finally met at Judgment Day 2006. Khali would actually go on to defeat The Undertaker with a little help from Daivari. After this Khali went on to mock The Undertaker by using his taunts and signature pin and poses. Khali eventually challenged The Undertaker to the first ever Punjabi Prison match. They were supposed to meet at The Great American Bash, but due to elevated liver enzymes Khali had to be replaced (Big Show would eventually replace him and lose the match). After Khali returned to the ring this time it was The Undertaker doing the challenging. He challenged Khali to a Last Man Standing Match at Summerslam. The match would eventually be moved to the Smackdown before Summerslam and Khali ended up losing, giving him his first real loss.
Khali went off of TV for a little until he returned to the newly revived ECW brand. Khali initially feuded with Tommy Dreamer, assaulting him on a regular basis. On a January 8th episode of Raw it was declared that Khali's 3 month ECW contract had expired and he was now on Raw. Khali faced John Cena that night in the main event and won by dq after Cena hit him with a chair brought in by Armando Estrada. After beating jobbers for a while Khali demanded better competition. So he interfered in a Money in the Bank between Kan and Booker T. He wound up getting Kane dq'd. These two would feud all the way up to and into Wrestlemania 23. Khali was successful at his first Wrestlemania by defeating Kane and choking him out afterwords with his own chain.
Khali would wind up chasing the WWE Title next after attacking Edge, Randy Orton, Shawn Michales and John Cena all in the same show. Khali won a #1 Contenders match the next week against Shawn Michaels earning him a shot at John Cena's WWE Title. Khali lost by submission to the STFU for the first time ever in his career at Judgment day to John Cena. Although it was later found out that Khali had his foot under the rope so he really didn't lose. Khali was granted a rematch at One Night Stand and lost again to John Cena after being FU'd off of a crane. This was the first time ever that Khali had been pinned.
On June 11th Khali was drafted back to Smackdown with the first pick in the draft. He initially feuded with Batista but was soon entered into a 20 man battle royal to decide the new World Heavyweight Champion since Edge vacated the title due to injury. Khali would actually win the Battle Royal after eliminating Kane and Batista in one move. The three would still go on to The Great American Bash where Khali retained his title in a triple threat match. After this Khali debuted his new finisher "The Khali Vice Grip" which destroyed opponents like Ric Flair, Batista, and Kane. Khali soon entered a feud with Rey Mysterio after Mysterio became the #1 Contender. Batitsa ended up making a save for Rey after one of his matches and it ended up being the three of them in a title match at Unforgiven. Batista would eventually win by applying a spinebuster to Khali. Khali got his rematch at No Mercy in the 2nd ever Punjabi Prison match. Batista wound up escaping first letting him retain the title.
Most recently Khali has been in the midst of a face turn. Helping Rey Mysterio and feuding against MVP. He is scheduled to be a part of the traditional Survivor Series elimination match this Sunday.
Opinion: So heres where the name of the column comes into effect WTF Khali? Is he a face or heel? Is he really the Hindu Goddess of destruction Kali come to reign down on WWE? Or is he simply what most people think a flop that has already reached full potential in WWE. I think the popular belief is that if this face turn doesn't work out then Khali isn't going to work out period. Which would make complete sense. He's been to every brand, they've tried making him champion. So the WWE has gone to their last and only resort, turning him face. Now if he can ever get over this already boring and ridiculous kiss cam bologna then maybe it'll work out, but one simple assault by MVP isn't going to change my opinion.
There's also gotta be internal concern for how long Khali can go. It was reported a while back that both of Khali's knees need surgery, but he refused and said he wanted to keep competing. Now if I'm WWE hopefully I'd learn from my past mistakes and not let the situation get to the point of where it was with The Big Show a few years ago.
Now this is all just common facts and the opinions of one man let me know what you guys think. I can be reached anytime by e-mail which I'll put below, you can also just post a reply on the boards I'm commonly on (I'll list that site below too). So until next time WTF!?

BitZero's Fantasy Booker.... WrestleMania
Alright so I'm kinda ripping Jesse off, but what the hell i think he'll live. All this is is just my version or dream Wrestlemania card for this year. I'm just gonna use current wrestlers on the WWE roster now. Some of these may be way out there but I'll put explanations down. Also there will be NO divas matches on this card or gay McMahon segments so there can actually be more wrestling. I won't put winners if you guys would like to pick who you think would win thats cool.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
- Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kane
How it got to this Point: Ok so i figure some how Jericho figures a way to hold on and squirm through his title matches while still dueling with GM Adamle. Eventually after Kane puts down a few big name guys Adamle unleashes The Big Red Machine on Jericho.
WWE Championship Match
- Triple H (c) vs. The Undertaker
How it got to this Point: Well this is the no brainer that should be on anybodies card. We've all been waiting for this match. It's Taker's undefeated streak vs. HHH's ego. Who will win???
ECW Championship Match - Extreme Rules
- Edge (c) vs. Matt Hardy or Tommy Dreamer
How it got to this Point: Alright who doesn't want to see Tommy Dreamer get one last run with the Title? I would love to see it for one. But i would love to see even more Edge vs. Hardy. ECW needs more big name talent and Hardy and Edge have enormous talent together. I've been calling for this feud now since the day Hardy won the title.
#1 Contenders Match for World Heavyweight Title
- John Cena vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton
How it got to this Point: Alright the three young guys that could run the future of this company. The way WWE is marketing now these three will be a huge part of this company in the upcoming years. The reason for this is Cena comes back and him and Batista go at it again for who the number one guy in WWE is and then you know that Orton is gonna wanna want in on that.
Money In The Bank Match (8 Man Style)
- Shelton Benjamin vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio vs. JBL vs. Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. Kofi Kingston
How it got to this Point: I mean c'mon do i really gotta explain this one. I f*cking love MITB and would defiantly pay to see this match alone.
Tag Team Turmoil Match
- Cryme Tyme vs. Miz and Morrison vs. Jesse and Festus.
How it got to this Point: I'm running the d**n show and i want a tag match darn it. This could also be a #1 Contender type tag match with Miz and Morrison challenging either show if they win.
- Shawn Michaels vs. CM Punk
How it got to this Point: Somewhat of a passing of the torch type match. I think they could keep them both face or maybe turn Punk heel. Either way another match i would love to see.
Cross Brand Matches
WWE Tag Team Champions vs. World Tag Team Champions
- The Colon's w/Umaga vs. Team Priceless w/Manu
How it got to this Point: Alright just another tag match pit the champions against each other. Also have the real Umaga and they copy cat Umaga (Manu) at ringside would be interesting.
U.S. Champion vs. Intercontinental Champion
- R-Truth or Mr. Kennedy or The Brian Kendrick vs. Santino Marella
How it got to this Point: Any of these three could be U.S. Champion at that point and i would love to see any of them in a comic match vs. Santino.
The only womens match that i might want to see is Beth Phoenix vs. Natalya Niedhart.
Ok so i wasn't sure where to go with MVP or The Big Show so if you have any ideas let me hear them. Also any and all comments are welcome if you think I'm just a nut job and this card suck it's ok, but yeah any suggestions are completely ok.
